Jerusalem Artichoke utilises a series of 'cells' which build and morph over time. As indicated in the score, Sections C and E are particularly open for variation and do not need to be performed exactly as the score suggests. The focus remains on implementing the notated harmonics within the overall sound when desired for dissonance. Each performance may be slightly different in regards to form and duration."
